Jobsite Lead — Titus Builders, San Diego, CA

Type: Full-time (or project-based transitioning into full-time)
Pay: Competitive hourly or project-based + bonuses, commissions, and leadership growth opportunities
Location: On-site at residential remodels throughout San Diego County

About Us

Titus Builders is a design-forward construction company crafting homes that feel grounded, beautiful, and intentional. We build kitchens, bathrooms, and indoor–outdoor spaces that look good, function well, and feel like a breath of fresh air.

We’re a small, fast-growing team — the kind of environment where the right person can step into leadership early, make a noticeable impact, and help shape the future of the company. If you’re someone who takes pride in your work, communicates clearly, and can run a jobsite with confidence, we want to meet you.

The Role

As our Jobsite Lead, you are the person we trust to represent Titus Builders when we’re not physically on-site. You’ll coordinate crews, keep the job moving, maintain quality, and ensure the home is respected at all times. You’re equal parts hands-on builder, organizer, communicator, and quality-control guardian.

This is a role for someone who wants ownership, not just a paycheck.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day operations on active remodel sites

  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and our Operations Manager

  • Ensure the jobsite stays organized, safe, and presentable

  • Track progress, troubleshoot issues, and keep the project on schedule

  • Communicate updates, next steps, and needs clearly — no radio silence

  • Maintain high-quality standards in all phases: demolition, framing, tile, drywall, plumbing coordination, finish work, etc.

  • Protect the client experience — you carry the Titus reputation on-site

  • Lead with integrity, consistency, and just enough personality to make the work enjoyable

Who You Are

  • You have solid hands-on construction experience (ideally 3–7 years)

  • You’ve led or supervised crews before, or you’re ready to step confidently into that role

  • You understand remodel workflow and can keep a site moving forward without chaos

  • You communicate clearly, directly, and respectfully — always

  • You take pride in accuracy, cleanliness, and craftsmanship

  • You problem-solve fast and don’t get flustered easily

  • You’re cool under pressure and fun to work with

  • You want to grow with a company, not just clock in

  • You value inclusive workplaces

Why Work With Us

  • Leadership track as we expand

  • Bonuses, commissions, and potential future stock options

  • Creative, design-focused projects — not cookie-cutter builds

  • A positive environment with no ego and no “old-school contractor” energy

  • You’ll play a defining role in shaping our systems, standards, and future team

  • Your ideas matter here

Compensation

Please include your compensation request in your application — either your preferred hourly rate or your preferred project-based structure. We’re flexible for the right person.

Job description: General Labor

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

About Us

We’re Titus Builders — a small but growing construction company designing and building homes that actually feel good to live in. Kitchens, bathrooms, outdoor living spaces… the kind of projects that make people proud of where they live.

We’re creative, fast-moving, and a little obsessed with doing great work. If you’re the kind of person who loves making things with your hands, learning new skills, and being part of a team that’s building something bigger than just houses — this is your chance to get in early and grow with us.

What You’ll Do

  • Jump in on all parts of the build: demolition, drywall, tile, flooring, shower installs, painting, and finish work.

  • Communicate with the Operations Manager daily to keep projects on track.

  • Problem-solve and adapt — every day’s a little different, and that’s what makes it fun.

  • Keep things clean, organized, and efficient — we care about craftsmanship and presentation.

  • Take pride in the details. You’ll learn a lot here, but you’ve got to show up curious and ready.

Who You Are

  • You’ve got anywhere from zero to a few years of construction experience — or just a real passion for using your hands to build things and doing it right.

  • You’re motivated, dependable, communicate, and have a good sense of humor.

  • You like working with creative people and have ideas of your own.

  • You can pass a basic math test (accuracy is a non-negotiable).

  • You want to grow — into leadership, higher pay, and maybe even ownership down the road.

  • You value inclusivity — we welcome all races, genders, sexualities and neurodivergent thinkers.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • We’re not corporate (quite yet). You’ll have a voice here.

  • Bonuses, commissions, and the potential for future stock options as the company grows.

  • Creative, design-forward projects — no cookie-cutter builds.

  • A fast pace, but not burnout pace. We like efficiency, not chaos.

  • You’ll actually be appreciated for your ideas, effort, and attention to detail.

How to Apply

  • Thoroughly review our website.

  • Write a short cover letter explaining:

    • What stands out to you about our business

    • Why you’d be a great fit

    • How you could help us grow

    • Your preferred pay structure and compensation request (hourly or project-based)

  • Attach your resume (yes, it matters — but your cover letter is what gets our attention, express yourself!).

  • Then send us a quick DM on Instagram (@titusbuilderssd) telling us what your spirit animal is — and why. *there is no wrong answer, but this absolutely is a test whether or not you do it!
